CHRISTMAS CANDLES was composed and written by Raymond Leveen, Leo Breen, and Walter Sampson in 1943. This popular composition went on to be published by Leeds Music Corporation of Radio City, New York, in partnership with D. Davis & Company, a renowned music publisher and distributor based in Australia.The popularity of the tune continued in 1949, when the Andrews Sisters and Guy Lombardo and his Royal Canadians released their rendition of the song on the Decca label.
This early release of the CHRISTMAS CANDLES sheet music published in 1944 is in a satisfactory state of preservation, with no evidence of prior ownership, though some minor fraying of corners is visible. It has been preserved in a protective sleeve for optimal protection. The eye-catching red cover prominently displays a classic image of a loving family celebrating a candlelit holiday tree.
