Wonderful vintage TWO-RING VASE by the FENTON ART GLASS COMPANY.
The pattern is POLKA DOT in Ruby Overlay; ware number 2456 RO. The vase design was released in polka dot/ruby overlay in 1956 and discontinued in 1969. The piece is advertised in the January 1965 catalog as a 6" vase although it is not quite that tall. However, hand blown glass is not always exact in size.
The beautiful vase is covered with small dots and has the Fenton signature ruffled rim and double rings on the neck. It stands a little over 5 ½” tall and is not marked on the bottom signifying its pre-1970s. The piece is in excellent condition and has no chips, cracks or repairs.
