Real photo postcard featuring "Phi Kappa PSI Fraternity House Dickinson College" located in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. Dickinson was chartered in 1783 and was the first college established in the new United States of America.

Postcard collectors know that an early postcard message can be a glimpse into the past, since in the early twentieth century, a postcard message was equivalent to a telephone call or text message today. And the message on this postcard from Mrs. V.C to Mrs. Luella Hook is a great example.

Black and white photograph with handwritten caption.
