Vintage porcelain CELTIC CROSS & FLAME HOLY WATER FONT. The beautifully crafted porcelain holy water font is hand-glazed in white with gold gilt. The font is in wonderful condition and measures 5” tall by 2 ½” wide. The font is marked Germany on the back. Designed with a hole on the top for hanging on a nail.
The scalloped body of the font's front side is in the style of a Celtic Cross with a red flame in the center. Tiny raised dots decorate the edge of the vessel. Gold gilt also decorates the vessel--on the rim and scalloped edge.
